Lucknow, 8 February 2026 โ Laraware Welfare Foundation today celebrated a landmark milestone as 200 women successfully completed the Foundation's three-month vocational skill training programme at its Gomtinagar centre in Lucknow.
The graduates received certificates in tailoring and garment making, beauty and wellness services, and food processing and packaging โ three trades identified through a community needs assessment as having high local employment potential.

- 12 women have started their own small enterprises
- 40 women placed with local businesses and tailoring units

"Economic independence is the foundation of every other freedom. When a woman earns, her children eat better, study more, and the whole family moves forward," said Vineet Kumar, Director, Laraware Welfare Foundation. "We aim to train 1,000 women by the end of 2026."
